Our Mission & Our Vision
We are a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization enthusiastically focused on finding and filling the gaps in the lives of our community’s children and elderly.
“With our youth and with our elderly we shall go.”
In the Bible lst Timothy 5:1-2 “Do not rebuke an older man harshly, but exhort him as if he were your father. Treat younger men as brothers, older women as mothers, and younger women as sisters, with absolute purity” Go Figure!! In other words, “We are Family”.
The integrity and healthy functioning of a community can be seen by how its young and its elderly are nurtured, protected, and esteemed.
Our two signature programs are: Kerry’s Kids and Kerry’s Krew. Although both programs are still in their start- up phase, they have received letters of support from prominent individuals and organizations, including a Memorandum of Understanding from the Baltimore City Public Schools, who appreciate the value of our efforts.
The Kerry Kares Foundation strengthens the Baltimore community by investing human, financial, and community resources (including schools, churches, libraries) to improve the educational and social opportunities for its youth and elderly. Through creative and thoughtful programming closely targeted to the needs of both populations, our Foundation is making the real difference for which is it was designed
The beneficiaries of our Foundation are models for changing struggle to success, for transforming days of boredom and frustration into lives of blessing and fortune.
While we work on clearing the path for others’ achievement and fulfillment, we say,
“Let’s work together…let’s get it done.”
